~ A Message from the Founder ~ Thank you for your interest in Playtyme! Playtyme was created when I began looking for a playgroup for my then 4 month old son. I went to a few play dates and realized very quickly they were not the type of playgroups I was looking for, for our family. The more I searched all over the Acadiana area, the more I came to the realization that the type of playgroup I desired, simply did not exist... That's when Playtyme was created. Since it's creation, Playtyme has far exceeded any expectations I might have once had. What was once just a few moms meeting up a couple of times a month, has now evolved into one of the most active playgroups in Acadiana. The biggest regret I hear from members of Playtyme, is simply that they didn't know about it sooner. I hope if you decide to join Playtyme, you get as much out of it as our other members have.
